Investment Opportunity

Tahltan Hospitality, Heli-Sports & Spa

Tahltan Hospitality, Heli-Sports & Spa – BC

Investment overview

Tahltan Hospitality is inviting visionary capital partners to participate in the development of a world-class indigenous tourism destination in Northwest British Columbia. Tahltan Territory is a vast, pristine region the size of Portugal—encompassing 92,000 km² or roughly 11% of the province.

We are currently in the strategic phase of development planning, with the goal of beginning development late 2026 or early 2027. Our comprehensive investment and tourism strategy will be finalized by 2026 Q2, at which point we will move into formalized financial, ownership, and development models. For the right investor, this represents a unique window to help shape a multi-generational "economy of meaning" alongside a stable, governance-mature sovereign partner.

The market opportunity

Capturing the conscious explorer

The global Indigenous tourism market is projected to reach $88 billion CAD by 2032. Modern travelers are shifting away from mass-market models toward unique, value-driven experiences that offer authentic connection and experiences.

  • High demand: 1 in 3 international visitors to Canada (37%) are actively seeking Indigenous tourism experiences. In the global tourism market, authenticity is the new currency.
  • A proven, high-yield market: The territory already hosts a century-old guide outfitting industry comprising 28 operations that contribute an estimated $20M – $25M annually to the regional GDP. This established sector provides a massive "proof of concept," validating the world-class abundance of wildlife (Grizzly, Stone’s sheep, Moose) and the territory's proven ability to attract high-net-worth international clients.
  • Untapped potential: The territory features major free-flowing rivers, numerous alpine plateaus, massive glaciers, and the Grand Canyon of the Stikine—a spectacular 80km-long gorge plunging 300 meters deep.

Sovereign de-Risking and ownership model

We offer a uniquely de-risked environment through Landmark Consent-Based Decision-Making Agreements under the Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples Act (DRIPA). This provides legal certainty and a sovereign-led pathway to approval that bypasses standard bureaucratic delays.

Anticipated ownership structure: We favor a Limited Partnership (LP) or Joint Venture Corporation (JVC) model where the Tahltan Nation retains majority control (51%+) and decision-making authority. This ensures project alignment with Tahltan stewardship values while offering investors meaningful equity positions, attractive returns, and preferential tax treatment for profits earned on-territory.
