2025 Webinar
2025 Session: Indigenous Tourism and Regenerative Experiences
Delivered in collaboration with the Indigenous Tourism Association of Canada (ITAC), the 2025 Destination Dialogues session focused on Indigenous tourism and featured presentations from Indigenous experience hosts across Canada.
The session explored how destinations, businesses, and community leaders—particularly in rural, remote, northern, and Indigenous communities—can transform local knowledge, culture, and creativity into regenerative tourism experiences.
Participants explored critical early-stage considerations, including:
- What makes a tourism experience idea viable and compelling?
- How can destinations design experiences that benefit both visitors and the community?
- What does it mean to be export-ready, and how can businesses get there?
- Who are the partners and supports that can help bring an idea to life?
Following the webinar, participants joined a two-hour interactive workshop led by Tansi Tourism Solutions. Through additional presentations, case studies, and breakout discussions, the workshop provided deeper insights into developing unique tourism experiences and community-specific solutions, while creating space for peer connection and knowledge sharing.
